Iguana 12 - The base

Painting the blue lights on the ground will have an undesirable side effect: I should put reflections inthe parts of the models that touch them...

Iguana 11 - Back on track (sort of)

I applied some glazes of Prussian Back + Black on the "metalic" parts.

With Pale Grey Blue and White, I blended the colours around the lights of the helmet.

And I did the same with the head of the Iguana.

As for te bases, I started the tedious process of highlighting everi f*cking hexagon using Amaranth Red and Clear Orange. I painted a few hexagons with Pale Grey Blue. These will become the floor lights in the future.

Iguana 10 - Losing control

It is very difficult for me to draw a straight line using a brush. Those triangles on the legs are transfers, by the way.
The red lines will require a lot of extra work...

The lights of the head are totaly out of control. They wil have to be corrected.

Te bases, with their first layer of Amaranth Red.

Iguana 09 - Lines and lights

So, I started painting the lines with Dark Red. I really suck at freehand...

This is what I meant. I had to erase a line because is was askew. It took 4 layers to make the red look really red. Finally, I applied a layer of Flat Red.
The center of each LED received a layer of Yellow first, then White. Around every light I painted a narrow line of Yellow.

The head... the head is giving me trouble. Those lights just don't work. I will try to solve this problem another day.
