Cloak & Dagger / Capa y Puñal - 4

With green putty for the minor scratches, and Vallejo Plastic putty for the major hole, I tried to repair the model as best as I could.

I base coated the model using Vallejo Grey Blue, using an airbrush. With the same airbrush I tried to define the shadows, failing miserabily.

So, this is how they looked after the bath in acetone. Notice the leag under the resin in Cloak's model. Dagger's hand was reattached with superglue.

Since I plan to put these two on a new base, I removed Cloak's tag using a flat saw. To avoid breathing the resin dust, I sprayed water over the zone I was cutting.

I primed the models before filling the damaged zones with putty, so I could see them more easily.

Cloak and Dagger / Capa y Puñal - 2

... and when I came back after a couple of hours, I found Cloak was starting to melt! That's how I learned that Cloak's model was not made of lead, instead is was resin filled with lead! Ok, puttyyy!!!

Ok, ¡masillaaaaa!

Cloak and Dagger / Capa y Puñal - 1

The Cloak & Dagger model from Eaglemoss is an awesome piece of work. Ok, I know it could be more dynamic, but it's really worth the money.
As always, after taking these photos, I submerged the model in the "Acetone Pit" in order to remove the paint...
