Iguana 02 - Assembling

Assembling the pilot required some green putty.
And drilling a hole in the right foot. Angled, to achieve a landing pose effect.

The ammo belt was the last piece to be glued.

Most of the metal parts were burnished, to make appear any "blemishes".
The torso required a LOT of filing and putty.

I mada a hole into each foot, in order to pin them to the base later.

Tere was some space left between the legs and the body...

... that required more green stuff.
The Iguana resting (provisionally) on its base.

This will be the painting base. With extra support and a magnet, to make it safer.

Iguana 01 - Basing

 1. Gluing the bases to the textured plastic sheet, using UHU glue for plastics.

 2. Let it dry for 2 hours.

 3. Cut way the excess card.

 4. Trace the pattern, to make it deeper (otherwise, painting it will be dificult).

As you can see, the depth of the lines has increased.

5. Finally, file the edges to achieve a smooth finish.
