Iguana 04 - accident and repairs

The model slipped from my hands when I was painting it. Both right arms broke, the index fingers bent, and the paint chipped off.
So I reattached the arms, scrapped of the chipped pint with the modelling knife, and carried on.

After priming the models using Citadel Skull White spray, I applied a coat of Vaejo Black using the airbrush

The first 3 coats I airbrushed were Shadow Grey + Black, Sadow Grey, and Shadow Grey + Pale Grey Blue.

Iguana 02 - Assembling

Assembling the pilot required some green putty.
And drilling a hole in the right foot. Angled, to achieve a landing pose effect.

The ammo belt was the last piece to be glued.

Most of the metal parts were burnished, to make appear any "blemishes".
The torso required a LOT of filing and putty.

I mada a hole into each foot, in order to pin them to the base later.

Tere was some space left between the legs and the body...

... that required more green stuff.
The Iguana resting (provisionally) on its base.

This will be the painting base. With extra support and a magnet, to make it safer.
